STOP THE BLOODY TRADE

DEVINE LIE - STOP THE BLOODY TRADE – NEW ALBUM OUT NOW!

Rhino Poaching in Africa has hit epidemic proportions – in fact the situation is so serious Rhinoceros are in grave danger of extinction.

The poor Rhinoceros harms no one but is being hunted like never before, mainly for use in Asian traditional medicines. In Traditional Chinese Medicine for instance, the horn, which is shaved or ground into a powder and dissolved in boiling water, is used to treat fever, rheumatism, gout, and other disorders. However proper medical research has proven that there is no real effect and that you would be just as well off chewing your own fingernails, as Rhino horns are composed largely of the protein keratin, also the chief component in hair, fingernails, and animal hooves.

Unfortunately though at the moment, Rhino Horn on the Black Market costs more than either Heroin or Cocaine!

STOP THE BLOODY TRADE

Devine Lie against Rhino Poaching

On a visit to South Africa we saw first hand the grotesque and terrifying results of the callous and cruel poachers.

We were so touched by what we saw we immediately set out to see how we could help. It became clear after discussions with various Groups, that the biggest thing in short supply and which could really make a difference, was money to buy the equipment Groups, trying to protect Rhinos, needed to have to counter the Rhino Poaching terrorists.

So DevineLie spoke to some large foreign based Charities, but soon realized that a great amount of money that we could raise would not reach the front line of the war against the poachers. So we decided to partner with and raise money for, the people at the sharp end of the war against the criminal poachers.

The Group we chose to support was the Limpopo Rhino Security Group as we were so impressed and touched at what this excellent Group of people does every day in their seemingly never ending fight against the criminals. Not only does The Limpopo Rhino Security Group try to stop the poachers, they also try and save, and nurse back to health, Rhinos that have been viciously attacked but have miraculously survived their initial ordeal.

Initially we set out to write and record a single, Stop the Bloody Trade, that could raise money for this worthy cause – but as we got to know more and more about the scale of the fight against these criminals, or perhaps they should be called inhuman, unfeeling terrorists, that we have now decided to donate not only the single, but have also donated our brand new complete forthcoming album as well.

Initially we set out to write and record a single, Stop the Bloody Trade, that could raise money for this worthy cause – but as we got to know more and more about the scale of the fight against these criminals, or perhaps they should be called inhuman, unfeeling terrorists, that we have now decided to donate not only the single, Stop the Bloody Trade, but have also donated our brand new complete forthcoming album as well.

The Album, now tilted, Stop the Bloody Trade, hopefully will increase awareness Worldwide of the crimes being committed against the poor and innocent Rhino population of Africa. The album, consisting of 12 tracks is available for download for a minimum donation of R100. Of the R100, all but approximately 4% will go DIRECTLY to help the Limpopo Rhino Security Group secure equipment to help in their war against the Rhino Poachers. The 4% is a charge that is levied by the Banks for processing of payments. Unfortunately whilst everyone else involved in this project, from the Musicians, Engineers, Artists and Web Designers etc, have waived ALL their fees, Banks seem somewhat less altruistic. However this is the ONLY deductions that will ever be made from your donations; this is unlike many larger Main Stream Charities that seem to deduct a minimum in excess of 30%, sometimes as high as 60% for their internal administration costs alone!

So our new Album STOP THE BLOODY TRADE is only available by donating R100 via the following link. PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BLOODY TRADE
